Open Days

The Great Barn is open in the afternoon (2pm to 5pm) on one Sunday each month during the spring and summer. Admission is free. On these days refreshments (tea, coffee and cakes) are also available.

These open days and the running of the Great Barn in general are organised by a group of local volunteers.

Additionally the Barn is open both morning and afternoon for the Heritage Weekend in September, when there are also a number of historical talks and a cafe is open in the Village Hall.

2024 Open Days

Five open days on Sundays are planned for 2024, with teas and cakes available on all these days.

• Sunday 28th April: Open Day with teas and cake
• Sunday 19th May: Open Day with teas and cake
• Sunday 16th June: Open Day with teas and cake
• Sunday 14th July: Open Day with teas and cake
• Sunday 18th August: Open Day with teas and cake

September 2024: Heritage Weekend

Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th September: Heritage Open Days, with historical talks in the Barn, a cafe in the Village Hall, tours of the area around the Barn, and more.
