Exclusive Group Visits

A wide variety of different groups have visited the Great Barn, including the Surrey Hills Society, the Guildford U3A, Rushmoor Inner Wheel, Badshot Lea Wives and many others.

The Great Barn can host groups of 20 or more, usually on a day and a time to suit you, between mid-April and mid-September. There is a large car park next to the Barn and all areas are accessible to disabled visitors.

Watch our film on Waverley Abbey and the origins of The Great Barn, followed by a talk about The Great Barn and Wanborough's history from one of our local experts. Then go on a guided walk to the 13th Century Church and a glimpse of Wanborough Manor, a wartime training school for the French Section of the SOE — the agents who went behind German lines.

The Group then returns to the Great Barn for a welcome cup of tea or coffee and to browse the exhibition detailing 10,000 years of history of the area. For private group visits please email us.
